Toyota introduced the Taisor, a compact SUV aimed at delivering exceptional value to drivers. Priced between Rs. 7.74 to 13.04 Lakh, this versatile vehicle boasts 12 variants, offering engine choices ranging from 998 to 1197 cc and manual or automatic transmissions. Safety is a priority, with all models equipped with six airbags for peace of mind. The Taisor’s sleek design, available in eight colors, exudes confidence on the road. Launched on April 3, 2024, in India, the Taisor comes in five variants: E, S, S+, G, and V.

Externally, the Taisor shares dimensions with the Fronx but features a distinct front grille, tweaked bumpers, redesigned alloy wheels, and stylish LED DRLs. Inside, the cabin boasts a modern theme with updated seat upholstery and a range of features, including a large infotainment screen with wireless connectivity, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charging, ambient lighting, steering-mounted controls, a 360-degree surround camera, and a heads-up display.

Under the hood, the Taisor retains the powertrain of the Maruti Fronx, offering a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine producing 88bhp/113Nm and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine generating 99bhp/148Nm. The 1.2-liter engine pairs with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the turbo-petrol variant offers a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

While the Taisor promises a compelling package, its safety ratings remain untested. Competing against the likes of Maruti Fronx, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and others, the Taisor aims to carve its place in the fiercely competitive compact SUV segment.
