Hyundai has introduced a new Venue S(O)+ variant with a sunroof, priced at Rs 10 lakh.
Hyundai has just launched a new variant of its popular compact SUV, the Venue. The S(O)+ version, priced at Rs 10 lakh, comes with a highly anticipated feature: an electric sunroof. This addition makes the Venue S(O)+ the most affordable version of the model to come with this feature.
The new Hyundai Venue S(O)+ sits between the S(O) variant, priced at Rs 9.89 lakh, and the SX variant, which costs Rs 11.05 lakh. Compared to the S(O) model, the main difference is the inclusion of the sunroof, which was previously only available starting from the SX variant. It’s important to note that the S(O)+ variant is only available with a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Despite the introduction of this new variant, the Hyundai Venue is not the most affordable compact SUV in India with a sunroof. That title still belongs to the Mahindra XUV 3XO MX2 Pro, which costs Rs 8.99 lakh.
In addition to the sunroof, the Hyundai Venue S(O)+ comes equipped with several impressive features. These include LED projector headlamps with Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist control (HAC), and a rearview camera.
Currently, the Hyundai Venue is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.48 lakh, and it competes with models like the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Taisor.
